I’m trying hard 

Not to have

The victim mentality
Surely that’s the best way

Don’t you agree?

Don’t put me down 

It hurts me so

Please don’t ever let me go
Well my rhyme isn’t working

I’m obviously shirking


Somewhere inside all of this

Is a soul clawing to get out

So get out of my way

Give me room, breath and growth

To work it out for myself

I’ve retired relatively early so I can do lots of travelling with my lovely hubby Steve. We have a touring caravan, so get to lots of places in the UK and in the not too distant future hopefully the continent as well with the van. We do lots of travelling by flying as well, having just returned from the two beautiful cities of Pisa and Florence and we own two apartments on the sunny south coast of Tenerife, so try to get out as often as we can. Fitting everything in is the challenge x
